EXHORT • ENCOURAGE • EDIFY
Psalm 18:16 says, “He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.” The Lord HAS drawn me Out of Deep Waters and this blog is an opportunity to share the process. It is my goal that every post will point back to Him and His faithfulness.
EXHORT
communicate to urge or persuade the recipients to take some action
They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Revelation 12:11
ENCOURAGE
give hope or support to someone
who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 Corinthians 1:4
EDIFY
build up, establish, or strengthen someone
… the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, Isaiah 61:1
