I JUST HAD TO DO IT!

Okay, so it doesn't take a lot to impress me or get me really excited. When I saw this here I immediately grabbed the broom. This is not a practical joke or a trick...my broom is standing upright in my kitchen...I'm just giddy over this. Maybe because I haven't been feeling good, maybe because I haven't been out of the house in two weeks or maybe, just maybe...my JOY is complete today! I'll go with the latter. Now...if that thing would start sweeping...whoa, it'd be just another day in PARADISE.

Go on, you know you want to try it. Did it work? Are you excited?

The why of this: On this website I read it has something to do with gravitational pull that only happens 4 or 5 times in 60 years. I don't know and I really don't care...I'm impressed.

By the way, the bristles are not spread apart.

Well, I'm bummed. It doesn't work here! But I have to tell you that your paint color, floor color and trim are exact matches for mine! We have great taste!
Check out this post I did on my kitchen and see if it doesn't look a lot alike!

Mari ~

Quite a long while ago you e-mailed and asked about bread machines. Though you've likely well beyond given up on me, I'm doing some "catch-up" tasks today. Though I can't find your original e-mail, I think I recall enough to answer most of your question.

I currently have a two-pound bread machine, which I can ONLY recommend. If you're going to make a loaf of bread, you may as well got more for the same exact amount of work!

My current bread machine is a "Sunbeam" - which I purchased at Costco several years ago for a pretty inexpensive price (under $80 I think). LOVE it!! Although I often cook the bread right in the machine, I ALSO often just have the machine make the DOUGH for me, and then I take it out to shape myself (rolls, baguettes, etc.), let them rise and then bake them in our oven. You'll REALLY multiply your machine use by keeping that option in mind.

The specific machine I posted on my blog about is the Zojirushi that cooks bread in a traditional shape (here's a link to it)
http://www.amazon.com/Zojirushi-BBCCX20-Bakery-Supreme-Machine/dp/B0000T6J3I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1257621476&sr=8-1

I have a Zojirushi rice cooker and a friend has their bread machine -- these are high quality products ... but the prices are VERY HIGH, as well. Though I think I'd really enjoy it, and receiving it for a Christmas gift would be perfect, I just don't think I'd be able to justify purchasing it myself when I've found my cheapy Sunbeam MORE than adequate.

Hope that helps!
